Chanted meditations or prayers, known as ‘pujas,’ are special methods for purifying negativity, accumulating merit and receiving blessings. They help us to develop and maintain a positive mind, and are a powerful preparation for meditation. Our main practice is Wishfulfilling Jewel, which includes time for silent meditation. The community comes together for these prayers on a daily basis, and you are very welcome to join us.
There is no need to book, and no fee.
Please note: times may change when other events take place. Please contact the centre before attending.
Please contact the centre to find out the time of a puja on any particular day.
By engaging in the Guru Yoga practised in conjunction with Je Tsongkhapa we can purify negativity, accumulate merit, receive blessings, and attain a very special compassion, wisdom, and spiritual strength. By relying upon the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden we can overcome obstacles to our practice and create favourable conditions. These two practices are the very essence of Kadampa Buddhism. This puja includes a 10-minute silent meditation.
Wishfulfilling Jewel pujas on Fridays include a Tsog, or food, offering: feel free to bring offerings if you wish.
