The new-year kicks off with a series of dynamic classes that offer effective meditation-based solutions to our everyday problems. These classes are highly practical and will provide us with the opportunity to develop our own mindfulness tool kit, equipping ourselves with the tools necessary to take control of our uncontrolled thoughts and feelings.
Buddhist monk and meditation teacher Kelsang Gomchen will share with us the art and power of meditation, mindfulness, alertness and concentration and show us clearly how these tools can be used to transform our lives. We will learn how to catch our emotions before they catch us, how to work with unrealistic desires, cravings and addictive behaviours and how to construct alternatives to irritation, impatience and resentment.
The methods taught in these classes can be easily practiced by everyone, whether a Buddhist or non-Buddhist and are suitable for beginners and more advanced practitioners.
