“I shall conquer all obstacles and none shall conquer me, thus I, who will become a conqueror, shall practice with self-confidence.” ~ Shantideva
Many people suffer from low self- esteem and lack of self-confidence, such non-productive ways of thinking can greatly hinder our quality of life, as well as prevent us from being able to move forward or effect positive change. During this talk learn how to develop authentic self-confidence through training in meditation and adopting new ways of thinking. With this confidence we can change our ordinary way of thinking into a more wisdom based approach and our ordinary life into a life of great meaning and altruism.
The teachings given will be based on several verses from the ancient Buddhist poem, Guide to the Bodhisattva’s way of life, by Shantideva which reveals the extraordinary confidence of someone who has gained control over their mind.
