Although we are generally aware of whether we are happy or distressed, most people have no clear understanding about what his or her mind actually is or how it functions. We find it nearly impossible to keep our mind positive and happy throughout even a single day because one moment we are happy, and in the next moment we can become anxious or irritated. If instead we learn how to recognize, and let go of harmful states of mind and replace them with peaceful and beneficial ones, we can eventually maintain a light, positive mind throughout each and every day. Ultimately, if we remove all our harmful states of mind, we will definitely experience permanent inner peace regardless of how bad our external circumstances may be.
In this course, we will develop a deeper insight into the nature and power of our mind through practical teachings and guided meditations. This insight or wisdom will bring great meaning to our lives and help us to effect deep internal transformation.
