Travelling by Car
For directions by car, please use the ‘Get Directions’ facility on the map above.
It is possible to park freely after 6.30 pm weekdays and all day at weekends on the opposite side of the street from the centre. Please don’t park in the driveway of the centre, as this is shared with a neighbour and is required for access.
Travelling by Bus
Lothian buses 10 and 27 run a regular service (every 15 – 20 minutes) along Polwarth Terrace, stopping near Mahabodhi Centre just after Polwarth Church / Rudolph Steiner School if coming from the city centre. Mahabodhi is less than 2 minutes walk from this stop. Both the 10 and 27 buses travel from Edinburgh city centre – the exact routes of these buses can be found on the Lothian Buses website.
There is a bus stop just outside our neighbours, Lindsay Guest House, for services to city centre.
Travelling by Rail
Take the train to Waverley train station and then follow the directions above for taking a bus to Mahabodhi centre.
