Meditation classes with Principal Teacher Gen Kelsang Lhamo
Gen Kelsang Lhamo is a Kadampa Buddhist nun and the resident teacher for Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh. She is greatly admired as a meditation teacher, and is especially known for her ability to inspire others to recognise and identify with their potential. Through her clear approach and her sincere example, she has helped many people to find true happiness from within.
She has practised Buddhist meditation since the age of 19 when as an undergraduate in biochemistry, she met her teacher, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso at Kadampa Meditation Centre Madhyamaka in York. Since finishing her degree and having completed the Teacher Training Programme put in place by Venerable Geshe Kelsang, she has been teaching meditation and Buddhism extensively for the best part of the last 30 years in the UK, USA, and France, including classes at Stamford University Business School, in Silicon Valley, and in Paris and throughout France from 1995.
Gen Lhamo teaches and guides meditations throughout the week in Edinburgh, the Borders and up the East coast of Scotland. She also regularly receives invitations to teach in other locations.
