Why is mindfulness essential?

With constant demands on our time from work, family and social commitments it’s easy to lose ourselves in endless lists and jobs to do.

Why is mindfulness essential?

In this course, we will look at how to take some time for ourselves in meditation to calm, relax and refocus the mind on the important aspects of our lives. We will then learn how to carry these special feelings with us throughout the day maintaining our connection to peaceful, positive states of mind even in the midst of our busy schedules.

Why is mindfulness essential?

Mindfulness enables us to hold on to these transformative states of mind and thereby begin to make our daily lives a little bit less fraught. Step by step we move closer towards developing the ability to maintain a peaceful mind even in the most challenging and irritating of circumstances.

What will you learn on this course?

The power of loving kindness

The people who stand out in our lives are always the ones who seem to show us the greatest love and kindness.

Everyone remembers their favourite teacher or the person who went out of their way to help us in our moment of greatest need.

The power of loving kindness

The power of loving kindness transforms ordinary people and actions into life changing ones that leave an indelible mark on our minds.

In this course, we will learn how to harness and strengthen these innate characteristics that we all possess and magnify them through the power of meditation.

The power of loving kindness

Loving kindness gives us the power to make a difference in this increasingly harsh and seemingly uncaring world. Through small steps and simple actions, we can make our lives more meaningful and bring real benefit to those around us.
