What will you learn on this course?

Lacking self-confidence is something that we all experience at one time or another. If we wish to develop stable self-confidence it cannot be based upon superficial things like reputation, external success, status, or praise from others. Although these things may temporarily lift us up and make us feel better about ourselves, it won’t last.

On this half day course we will look at how we can use Buddhist meditation to develop authentic and stable self-confidence based on developing our inner good qualities.

2.15-2.30pm: Registration

2.30-3.20pm: Session 1

Benefits of Meditation

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful.

If we train in meditation our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness.

By training in meditation, we create an inner space and clarity that enables us to control our mind regardless of external circumstances.
