The answers to these questions offer us a deep insight into the power of our mind. Understanding our mind empowers us to improve our experience of daily life.

Classes include easy to follow guided meditations and a talk based on the topic.

* These sessions are ideal for those wishing to start meditating and for those who want to deepen their existing experience. Although part of a series, the classes are self-contained and no previous experience is required.

* Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis. Classes are held every week unless otherwise stated. No special clothing is required.

Gen-La KunsangThis course will be taught by experienced meditation teachers from Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh including Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s principal representative in Scotland, Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang.

About the class

What does the class entail?

Each class consists of a breathing meditation to settle the mind, a short talk exploring an aspect of training in mindfulness and a second meditation based on the ideas raised. The session concludes with some take away advice that can be practised beyond the sessions allowing the benefits to pervade our life.

Do I have to attend all 5 weeks?

No, each class is self-contained and can be attended on a drop-in basis. However, it is beneficial if possible to attend the entire series of classes.
