What is meditation?

     

     

    Buddhist philosophy offers practical methods for gradually overcoming our negative states of mind and learning how to nurture positive minds such as love and compassion.

     

    Happiness is a state of mind so its causes can be found within the mind. Through training in meditation and other buddhist practices, we learn how to take these teachings to heart.

     

    We do not necessarily need to be a Buddhist to try out these practices, or to benefit from them
