“I shall conquer all obstacles and none shall conquer me, thus I, who will become a conqueror, shall practice with self-confidence.”
Many people suffer from low self- esteem and lack of self-confidence. These non-productive ways of thinking can greatly hinder our quality of life, as well as prevent us from being able to move forward or effect positive change.
During this public talk we will learn how to develop authentic self-confidence through training in meditation and adopting new ways of thinking. With this new found confidence we can change our ordinary way of thinking into a ‘wisdom based approach’ and our ordinary life into a life of great meaning and altruism.
Kelsang Gomchen will share teachings based on the beautiful verses of the ancient Buddhist poem, Guide to the Bodhisattva’s way of life, by Shantideva, which reveals the extraordinary confidence of someone who has gained control over their mind.
This talk is suitable for all levels.
