Practical and effective advice for solving our problems at home and at work, based on cultivating good habits of mind. Includes a short talk on developing a kind heart, guided meditation and inspiring chanted prayers.
The teachings will be based on the inspiring book “The New Eights Steps to Happiness” written by the contemporary meditation master and founder of KMC Edinburgh, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. The class will take place in conjunction with Prayers for World Peace – a short, simple and beautiful chanted practice that reminds us how to create the causes for peace for our self and others through recitation of verses taken from ancient Buddhist poetry.
