About the Course

On this course, we will learn simple meditations which can be practised at home or any time you need a break from busy daily life. Applying the methods taught will lead to happiness, a sense of purpose and harmony in your relationships. Guided by our resident teacher Gen-la Kunsang, this course is the perfect opportunity to learn meditation techniques and clarify any questions you may have.

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions.

About the Teacher

Gen-La KunsangGen-la Kelsang Kunsang is a Kadampa Buddhist nun with more than 25 years experience, during which time she has travelled the world teaching meditation and explaining Buddha’s teachings. She demonstrates an extraordinary and inspirational example of a modern-day Kadampa practitioner. Her teachings are powerful and clear.
