Learn to meditate

Establishing a regular meditation practice can seem overwhelming at first. Do I need any special equipment? How long should I meditate for? What’s the goal exactly? What about those apps – are they any good?

Get the answers to all these questions and more at our Learn to Meditate workshop. Buddhist nun Gen Wangmo will teach proven strategies for calming the mind, reducing stress, and finding peace wherever you are.

Who we are

As a registered charity KMC Edinburgh has been benefiting the people of Edinburgh and the East Coast for over 20 years providing authentic and practical meditation courses across the region.

In 2018 we moved to a new premise on Leith Walk, creating a beautiful meditation hall, cafe and bookshop, providing a dedicated space for the development of inner peace. We continue to offer our support through online activities, but we hope you may visit us here and experience the stillness and peace of this special place, dedicated to world peace.

KMC Edinburgh  is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition –
International Kadampa Buddhist Union. Registered Charity no. SC038810
