Suitable for everyone, these walk-in classes offer practical methods to improve the quality of our lives through meditation and Buddhist teachings.
These classes are based on the book ‘How to Transform Your Life’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Most of our anxieties in life seem to involve other people. We think they give us stress, irritation, sadness, fear, despair and so on. Even those we love the most can cause us problems and worry. Some say this is unavoidable: “the human condition”. But this is a wrong view.
Our relationships with others are based on mental habits. Sometimes these are so deep we can barely see them – but once we recognise these patterns we get the freedom to change through meditation. This fresh approach naturally leads us to cherish others, providing us with greater confidence, composure and meaning in our lives.
