On Friday and Saturday, 4th and 5th of January, we will engage in a short retreat, making prayers and requests to Buddha Amitayus for everyone, including our self, to enjoy a long life endowed with good fortune and great wisdom.
This is followed by a week retreat where we will familiarise ourselves with the 21 meditations of Lamrim. They teach us how to make both ourself and others happy.
These meditations on the stages of the path to enlightenment are the actual method to control and improve our mind. The more we control our mind the more our inner peace increases and the happier we become.
Each session consists of short prayers, introduction to the object of meditation followed by the actual meditation.
This retreat is suitable for all levels of understanding.
